  • A very enjoyable book, written years ago but very relevant to today.

I read 'A Town like Alice' many years ago and enjoyed it, but never read any others. It was a comment on the news by someone who said that today's financial situation was very similar to the scenario put forward in 'Ruined City'. This intrigued me, so I wanted to read it. I found it to be true, with much food for thought, although it can be read at a much lighter level, just for it's own sake. Very enjoyable, whichever way you want to interpret it.
