Between confusing my tracking information for another order (making me think my package had been delivered states away), my book having completely different cover art than the image used in the eBay listing, my book not being packed well and suffering some damage, as well as the other shady behavior listed in other reviews (like my book coming from Amazon and the seller immediately jacking up the price of the original listing after my purchase), I'd say this is a shady seller to entirely avoid.

Book was as described. Charged a lot for shipping and never gave any tracking information. Also, this book was sold to me before they had it in hand apparently. A packing slip for Amazon was found with a cheaper price and later date than when I bought the book.

It’s a great book, but this one I received was not in the condition it was advertised. When it arrived, a cheaper price tag was left on it for this reason but I was never refunded the original/ higher amount that I paid for a better quality book. Seller did not resolve. Very disappointed.

    Trusted Author

Dr Hymen has been on PBS many times. I decided to get his book. A lot of information on how our government has used us to prosper businesses at the detriment to our health. Great ideas to improve your health and easy recipes. Like this book a lot.

  • Most critical review

Is not for anyone who is a food addict. Same as an Alky can't just have one drink and stop.

Doesn't understand the addictive process... believes you can have gluten and sweets on only rare occasions... does not comprehend the triggering effect that even a tiny bit of these will have on the craving and obsession for more. Some really good research and the book is excellent for anyone who is not actually addicted to refined grains/sugars.

  • Easy to digest

Really makes it simple, cuts through the noise. Loved the fasting plan as inkearned a lot about myself such as my whole life bread has been giving me heartburn. No bread no rolaids for the last few yrs since I read the book. Also showed me how much eating a little sugar makes you want more instantly. Highly recommend. The last 15% of the book is citations from medical journal articles so you know it is good info.

  • Limit Carbs

This book was recommended by my doctor, but a little too extreme for me. I am not going to change my eating habits that much. It is unrealistic to follow his eating rules exactly, but overall guidelines - less carbs, good fats. All ok. He also advocates for milk thistle which my hepa doc has said has no known value, if you like Dr Oz. you will like this book.
