I’m coming from long owned Shure se535’s and I am very happy. My se535’s definitely have more base, but the iSINE 10’s have good base also. That said, the iSINE 10’s excel from mid base to highest upper range. They are open, expansive, neutral and beautifully detailed. I love their lively midrange. The fit is great with little or no ear fatigue. For your money you will get the best sounding portable headphones obtainable in their price range. Now that’s a good thing right there. Build quality is up there nicely. The cord has only a slight tendency to want to tangle, but that is probably due to their use of material that is soft and won’t telegraph bumping noise as much. I’m super happy with this purchase. Audeze is a very cool company.

These in ear headphones sound ok. The cifer cable is heavy on the cables must use the clip and clip to shirt. After 5 minutes of use the right side ear phone quits playing fiddle with the plug it works. Don’t waste your money. Not recommended!

Pardon the title pun, but these things are great. I have Hifiman over-the-ear planar magnetics too, and I love both. These Audeze sound smooth, balanced, and detailed, with no hint of harshness. The Audeze and Hifiman both rival my main stereo (Rotel and Paradigm) for sound quality. If I ever need to replace my Paradigms, I will be looking for planar magnetic speakers because on the high-quality sound I've experienced with these two headsets. The Audeze are large and relatively heavy but there are several options for supporting them in your ears. I work outside and wear them all day with no hint of discomfort. They're open back, so they don't block out surrounding sounds. I need to be aware of my surroundings so I consider this a good thing. It's no worse than talking to someone when the stereo's on. They stay on and stay in place just fine. I did replace the silicone seals with foam seals, but I just prefer the foam seals in general. If you can afford them, I don't see how you can go wrong with these.Read full review

Great sounding, linear, no exaggerated areas, bass is excellent also, realistic and fairly deep. Best in ear headphones I have heard under $500
