Totally agree with the other’s lovely hood however the chimney or duct housing/cover is a little awkward to get on and doesn’t quiet sit as well as it should poor design as the older one which this replaced was far better in that sense and easier to install. The hood is self is excellent and easy to install, the template it comes with is very handy. Also not sure if it wasn’t meant to have the flaps for the duct housing but they were missing. I have yet to encounter a quiet extractor hence stating No. The extractor is quieter than the one it replace however that is simply because on setting three the motor is not spinning as fast. In fact there is no difference that I can tell between setting 2 and 3. All that said, we typically have the hood on setting one as that is sufficient for what we cook. The coloured edge looks very pretty. Installation was easy, but you need to buy a 3A fused plug, which is something unusual in the UK, all appliances I have bought have come with plugs. I have absolutely no complaints about the unit. Great fan but....
The fan is well made and the controls are easy to use, the only problem is the mounting of the chimney housing, it is a little awkward and a tad flimsy, other than that it is a good unit.

Worth the money but Jury out on how long it will last
For price, looks and ease of use. Against its a bit fidilly to fit top covers especially bracket for lower shroud. It would be good to know prior to purchasing what size the extraction hose is just in case you need an adapter.
