      Brilliant, easy to follow book for a new gardener. I'm hoping for great results would recommend, so easy to use. Month by month advice given ans lots of pictures too.

      Great book for beginners

      A great book which gives you quick month by month advise on what and when to sow , plant out, and harvest each month , also explains about soil’s, bugs and equipment. All in all a good gardeners bible.

      It's a present and hasn't been used yet but we looked into which book seemed best for allotment gardeners. This looked good for both beginner and experienced allotmenters and for us it was the clear winner. The actual book is brand new and looks like it should be very useful so hopefully it's job done.

      A must have!

      It's your Allotment/Garden diary with notes on all the things to - you will never overlook anything again. However, with some subjects, though it gives good timings, there is not enough detail on technique (Pruning for example). Overall all though, truly excellent, especially for beginners.
