First edition, first issue, with London & New York on rear cover. Measuring 4.5 inches by 4 inches. Original green cloth wallet format with circular paste down to the front. Folding panorama arranged in pairs with the illustration facing the text on the other page. 14 lovely illustrations by Enid Blyton. In very good order with light wear to the edges, creasing to the front clasp, a little darkening to the covers. Binding square and sound. Internally clean and free of inscriptions. The contents are in very nice condition with a few creases and a tiny amount of loss to the edge of the first illustrations and text (see pictures). A very lovely item. Scarce.”
