Great little unit
I've been wanting to get an angled panel extractor for ages, but until recently the price had been prohibitive. I was thrilled to see this one at less than £100, so bought it hoping it was half decent. I'm happy to report that it's a really good unit. It looks sleek and simple, and the matching chimney conceals the ducting nicely. You can't tell from the pictures, how the air is extracted, but the glass panel has a gap between it and the filter behind, and the powerful motor sucks the air from all around. The panel is hinged at the top, too, so you could pull it away from the chassis so it's hanging, to allow more extraction area, though it doesn't say this in the user manual, so use your judgement. All in all, a great little unit which I'm thrilled with. Oh, and dispatch and delivery ... Looks to well made, and should do it's job.
The noise depends on the fan speed selected, on full speed it is noisy but the electric kettle makes more. Easy to install with the very good template provided, and the instructions are clear. The grease filter is easy to remove to clean, and the charcoal filter is simple to fit and change. We will see what it is like to live with.
