Sat finder.
I had scaffolding put up for re-pointing & my sat dish had a nudge, so I bought this Sat finder. I hadn't used one before but it couldn't have been easier, it comes with a short cable which you screw on to the finder & the LNB. The right hand socket on the finder takes the cable from the receiver which is where the finder gets power from, so no fiddling around for batteries. I didn't even undo the clamp nuts. You just turn the knob fully clockwise, then move the dish until you get the highest pitch from the meter, then turn the knob anticlockwise until the pitch from the meter drops quite a lot really then tweek the dish again until you get the highest pitch again, I did this three times, when I couldn't get the pitch to raise any more, I reconnected the receiver cable to the LNB and that ... For ten or fifteen pounds it's a no brainer not having one of these. I definitely recommend this product, it saved me so much time, and probably money paying for some "technician" to reset my dish. Don't hesitate, buy one.

Does the Job.
An easy to use item that is good value. I have limited use but what I have had I found it very good. I have used it to check the signal both at the top of a ladder as well as at the satellite receiver. Being small in size and lightweight it is easy to handle. It comes well packaged with clear instructions.

Only slight criticism is that the written instructions included are in "Chinese English" so don't make a lot of sense but there are plenty of videos on You Tube showing how to use the meter so no dramas. Brilliant but also inexpensive most effective simple to use signal strength verification meter!.
This is a fabulous tool to have, as it is so simple to use giving a clear & concise reading by both the analog display which is lit up, additionally having the useful benefit of an audible tone to determine signal strength. I can highly recommend this most useful meter for a simple straight forward dish alignment.
