The reason I say this is because my unit has a motor, which drives the tape. When I switch it on I have to nudge the tape gently to make it rotate. This does not happen with others. These are the exact size and work on all Copicats. Copicat tape echo units rely on the correct tape tension for reliable operation so that the motor can move/pull the tape (there are no pinch roller). Incorrect tape tension can affect, echo sound, output etc. and of course tape transport problem. In most cases, adjusting or replacing the tape tension spring located inside the device can sort these problems. See a serviced qualified technician for advice.
