This was an almost new cookbook and a joy to receive. It has an inscription to the last owner and I just added an inscription underneath that to the daughter I bought it for. I hope that one day she'll pass it on to her daughter and add her inscription. This vendor is above reproach and is a dream to work with!

Irish for everyone, including some uniquely irish seafood.

I've always wondered why there are no Irish Seafood restaurants. We all know what to expect when you go to an Italian seafood, a Mexican seafood, a Thai, Chinese, Japanese seafood restaurant. But I never heard of any recipes for uniquely Irish seafood (fish and chips are same anywhere) So this book has 3 that fill that gap, the rest of the recipes are nicely photographed, easy to follow. We are currently cooking our way through, next up will be the lamb shoulder roast with biscuits. Not only recommend, I've bought a couple more copies for friends. (confession, I had bought the first copy as a gift for a friend who goes to Ireland every year, but tried one of the seafood recipes inside, stained the book so had to replace it)

  • The BEST Irish Pub Cookbook

Having visited Ireland in the past year, and having tasted the BEST pub food ever, this is a cookbook from Heaven. The recipes are simple, as are most of the ingredients and preparation. The photos are great, too! If it's pub food you're craving, this will satisfy your taste buds and give you a meal's worth of moments from the Emerald Isle. SLAINTE'

  • Compelling pub recipes

Great, easy to follow recipes, for a good mix of simple and complex foods that will make your mouth water. Not your typical everyday pub food, but wonderful dishes that won't break your budget nor cause exotic purchasing to make. Looking forward to trying many of these recipes.

  • Nice cookbook

Nice cookbook. I was hoping for a couple of recipes that we had in Ireland, unfortunately, not in there. However, there are some other good recipes. Ireland seems to have moved from lamb in their stew and has more beef, so hopefully, if I make the stew with beef, it will still be good. Will try the brown bread recipe, too. Thank you!

  • The magic of the food

I've been trying out some new dishes at home leaning more towards dishes from Ireland. The lore and magic, the beauty of the land and the sea have me completely enchanted. This cookbook has many traditional recipes in it, and it also has intertwined in the recipes, some of the history and myth that goes along with each. I have already tried a few of the recipes, and they are absolutely delicious.
