    A must have for parents and educators

    This book was recommended to me by one of my grad school professors. I am so happy I took his advice and bought it! This book has changed the way I parent. I used to become so frustrated with my children, having to tell them to do something over and over or constantly breaking up fights. Time outs (though I follow Super Nanny format), worked for the moment, but did not have a lasting behavior effect. It would only be a matter of a few minutes and the kids could be back in time out for the same thing. Discipline wihtout Stress Punishment or Rewards has given me a new outlook on discipline. It is my job to set up the system and house rules, but now discipline is up to my children. My children are 4 and 6 and it has worked like a charm! I CANNOT believe that it truly works. When ...

    Required class material

    I had to buy this book for my EDEL 300 class. We haven't used it a whole lot so I couldn't tell you if it's a spectacular book or not. But I think that most people would find it helpful.
