part (caliper) did not fit and was unusable without me drilling the holes a whopping 8 mm wider, which severely weakens the product and is not a safe thing to be doing. sadder still my girlfriend missed a long awaited hospital appointment due to this nightmare experience.

I am sorry for your experience. We contacted you and offered item replacement or refund but you did not reply to us. We also did not receive car registration number or VIN which we recommend to send prior to purchase to confirm fitment in order to avoid disappointment when item does not fit. Sometimes multiple parts were in use and it is the best to contact seller prior to purchase.
