    This is one of the best for all time.

    One of my favorite movies of all times. Maybe women could take a lesson or two from this one, especially the women of the woke variety.

    Disappointed

    Taylor and Burton, I thought it would be great acting even if the story was hockey. Wrong. Taylor wasn’t up to the standard of Richard Burton who of course brought his talent as a Shakespearean actor to this film even if at times he tried to rise to a comedic level that wasn’t comedic. Productions from this time were all sets and it looks just like that. Just expected more.

    An all time classic

    Stellar performances by the pair of great actors, and an incredible cameo appearance by Michael York. Franco Zeffirelli at his best. A great Shakespearian slapstick. Some feminists might misread it, they can write their complaints to the Bard.
