Players return to a virtual playroom re-creation of the iconic movie series in LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. As in LEGO Indy's Original Adventures, gamers play through famous scenes from the films, with 3D characters and settings created completely from colorful LEGO building blocks. The 2009 sequel game includes scenes from all four feature films, including the most recent Indiana Jones movie, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.<br><br>Some characters have new moves since the first game, and new vehicles are available to re-create well-known movie scenes on boats, motorcycles, and mine carts. In a feature new to the LEGO movie game series, players can also create their own levels, using an almost unlimited supply of blocks. Custom levels can be built completely from scratch, or created by altering and adding to the pre-designed levels included in the game.<br><br>As in the Indiana Jones original and other LEGO movie games (LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Batman), players can collect objects hidden throughout the game world to unlock playable characters. Who knew
Who knew my 7 yr old daughter would be so into Indiana Jones, she loves this game. Looks like a great game to me, seems to be just the right amount of difficulty, not too easy and only needs a little help sometimes.

Not as great as the last Indiana Jones
This one features the creator but the gameplay isn't as in depth as the last Indiana Jones Games. The levels aren't as fully fleshed as in the last one but still...it's lego. What's not to love.

Great game with some irratating bugs
I love the Lego series of games, and this one continues the tradition. Indy 2 seems a little easier to solve than previous titles, so some older players may find it too simple to solve. There are some issues with this game. After finishing a level and returning to the hub, I have had the game lock up a few times. (The screen froze and the background music continued playing. Only cycling power to the PS3 could exit the game.) There is also an issue where you can get all of the treasure chests for a level (confirmed in the pause screen as 10/10), but one of the chests remains ghosted out in the hub preventing you from completing the super-bonus object and completing the episode. I did contact Lucas Arts, but they only directed me to their forums. The forums show these as issues for ... I love the Lego series of games, and this one continues the tradition. Since the game has been out for a while, I guess they don't plan to fix the bugs. Overall, it is fun, but the bugs are frustrating. If the treasure chest bug appears, the only solutions appear to be starting the game over from scratch, or live with not getting 100% on all episodes. I hope the upcoming Harry Potter title will return to the quality I have seen from previous Lego titles.
