I'd inadvertently ordered the wrong type. I contacted the seller who very kindly sent me the correct one at no additional charge. The unit is a budget item so don't expect high quality like in electronics of old, but it works well enough. I used it as a replacement for the corroded mess of of a battery pack that I found inside my recently acquired BBC master.

Very nice little battery holder with a discrete but useful switch. Just what you need for working on a breadboarded project where you are not certain about the circuitry. Switch off, re-fix a wire switch on and see if the change is effective.

The items are as described and sensibly priced. International postage was also extremely good. The only down side to the whole process was delivery time which was over a week later than the original estimate. However, that was down to Correos Express (Spain) and not the fault of the seller.
