    Actual History of; a Priest on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation, MT, a compelling read.

    The twists & turns of this book, was not what I expected; actually the book could be made into a factual movie. A cliche' often spoken is; "Truth is stranger than fiction" this book lives up to the words. Many emotions are felt by the reader through out the book. Often Catholic Priests are misunderstood by the general public, throughout the read one discovers the simply human side of the Priest & the subjects around his life. I found the book so very truthful covering the subject, I have purchased several more copies for friends & family. This is not a book that preaches the Catholic religion or any other religion in general, the story covers various sides of humanity & a dedication to others less fortunate.

    Heart rending stories.

    fascinating story about the horrendous conditions the Cheyenne were living in and Father Emmetts efforts for many years to remedy this.

    Renegade Priest of the Northern Cheyenne

    I have not read this book. I bought it as a gift for my daughter. My family and I met Fr. Huffman on our trip out west and were impressed by the wonderful work he has done.
