Cinderella is a cyborg in this futuristic take on the fairy tale, the first book in Ms. Meyer's planned 'Lunar Chronicles' series., Cinderella is a cyborg in this futuristic take on the fairy tale, the first book in Ms. Meyer's planned 'Lunar Chronicles' series., Fairy tales are becoming all the rage, with the TV shows Once Upon a Time and Grimm spinning them through a modern filter. Wonderful YA Sci-Fi Adventure

This is a wonderful book. Ms. Meyer has a great imagination, a deft way with dealing with plot, and her characters pop off the pages. The story is a way-out take off on the "Cinderella" story. Since this is the first book in the series of "The Lunar Chronicles," expect some hints of what's to come in future books, and for the novel to end in an expected but delightful fashion.

    • Futuristic Fairy Tales with Inventive Twists!

If you like fairy tales....If you like science fiction....If you like romance...This series of Futuristic Fairy Tales is for you. Cinder is the first book in the four Lunar Chronicles stories (Fairest & Stars Above are backstories). A friend introduced me to them so I borrowed them from the library. I LOVED them so much I immediately bought them. Inventive and so very different from what I expected.
