The Best 200 Megahertz Bump You'll Ever Get

I wanted to upgrade my ASUS K53TA Laptop with a little beefier CPU than the A6-3400M that it came with. After some extensive research I found that the A8 -3520M was the safest upgrade I could install, due to BIOS limitations and TDP. It was easy to install, and it worked after only the second boot. (I think the graphics driver crashed out of the gate, but recovered after second boot). The 200 MHz boost is negligible, but it does help a little.

  • All is fantastic

This processor has blown me away in performance, it can run and play Grand Theft Auto V, which is probably the most computer crippling game at the moment. It can also run Battlefield 4 decently (another pc crippling game) and not to mention you can overclock this puppy to 2.4GHz. The PC i put this processor is the Gateway NV55S17u and it is the most powerful laptop i own now. Like i said, this processor blew me away because i had no idea what it was capable of.

  • Quality FS1 Socket Upgrade for Older Laptop

Replaced my AMD A4-3300M in my HP Pavilion G7 laptop, socket FS1, with this unit. Extremely satisfied, really brought back my computer with the substantial performance difference. Excellent fit, great performance (comparatively for what it is), Would purchase again if needed.

  • Great Processor, but installing it was a trouble.

I replaced my old amd 3305m, and it is ok! BUT, my laptop hp g4 -370la was unable to use the 4 cores of the processor,so, i just can use 3 :( even after that, performance in games and programs is great.

  • Fast, works, no complaints, would buy again

Installation was (as with all laptops) painfully tedious, but nothing went wrong. Just slotted it in and reassembled, graphics drivers auto-installed by Windows, everything just worked with no BIOS fiddling. No problems with temperature or instability. Gave my older laptop some more life as a dev machine. Also, gaming is almost twice as fast as with the old 3300M.
