      Quite a let down.

      Being such a big fan of the original "Golden Compass" movie, and the stories, I find this series a VERY big let down. Very cheaply made and poor choice of actors. After the incredibly well done original movie, made from one of the best stories ever written, I'm so sorry to see what's been done to the series. I've waited years for this series to be made. Dafne Keen is the only one that holds the whole thing together. Very disappointing, to me.

      Saga contines in style

      True to novel. Effects are dazzling. Performances hit the mark. While the young actors have matured over the time from season 1, costuming and make-up help them. Bonus was digital code was honored even though date limit on box had passed. Eagerly waiting for season 3 to be released.
