Highly polished and nicely finished all round with no rough cuts etc. Quite a substantial weight but not so heavy it's difficult to move - and the rubber feet help to keep it stationary too. Lost one review star because there are four thin scratches across the surface: not deep, so I'm hoping they can be polished out - but visible and somewhat irritating.
