As instructed I run the machine 5 times to get the dirt out. I soaked the infuser after looking it up on delonghi's YouTube channel and ended up having to buy a new one... I understand this unit is refurbished but there was just so much dirty water coming out. There were coffee grounds all around the inside. So much for a gift for my partner.

It was well protected and in very clean condition, no evidence of any use, although it had produced 230 coffees. Described as returned/refurbished I was not expecting it to be new, but if I had been told that it was refurbished in 2019 I would have considered this purchase a little longer, at least the technicians report was up front.

My coffee machine broke a few days before holiday - I ordered a replacement refurbished unit. Sent a message at 7pm explaining I was on hols in the next few days and…after receiving a nice message back, it turned-up the next morning. In transit the water compartment broke. Told them. The next morning a new water compartment arrived!
