Never made it to the end, lost interest
Sorry John, this book is naff. Starts out ok in the introduction, your comical observations and erudite wit sucks one in. Thereafter, chapter by chapter, it becomes clear, the content is just a string of cliches. Still because the copy I have is not well thumbed, almost in as new condition, I can stick it in the Christmas Stocking of a friend who is more sycophantic than myself, so it isn't a complete waste of money. Although I guess I be seeing the book again in the bargain base 10 for the price of one bin at the charity shop. I don't wanna be yours.Sorry John, this book is naff. I hope it's genuine
I've bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter, who is a big JCC fan. I know she'll love it. I just hope it's a genuine 1st edition, 1st print as described but, even if it isn't, she'll still be thrilled with it.
