The item was sold as genuine leather, but clearly from the feel and especially the smell it was obviously made of PVC. It's a pity as the item was good in sizing terms and looked good, but I don't like being fobbed off with PVC when I've paid for leather. It's not right and actually contravenes trading standards in the UK.
