    This was a folding knife that arrived in the original packaging. It was the brand and model described and new in the box. However. there was nothing on the box or knife blade describing the metal as "7Cr17MoV". I think that Schrade did have some blades with that composition in the past but the manufacturer's web site just describes this knife as high carbon SS.

    Sturdy Excellent Scissors.

    The scissors are very sturdily built. They cut well, of course, and the ability to easily slip them apart for cleaning is a plus. My wife won't let me near them!! She needed a new pair of kitchen shears. I should have jumped on them years ago.
