Only works in direct sunlight fyi... Have placed the solar panel on a pole to maximise this as my patio quite shady. It is designed for shallow pools but i used a garden plant support under the water of my pond container to raise it to just below the surface of the deeper pot. Highly recommend and also great value for money! Arrived in great condition and looks fab . A++++++++

But now it is finally delivered it I'm staggered by how good it is. 5v, 2.5w, 200l/h version, the solar panel is a newer smaller type than shown but it out performs my old system . On dreary overcast day, including drizzle and rain it's still running the fountain. The cable connectors are a good weatherproof design. And there was a bonus USB cable as well.

I did have a spare small solar panel of the same voltage and when wired in parallel to the original panel, the pump will run when it's overcast. Pic 1 - Stops and starts every few seconds in overcast. Pic 2 - Full sun. Pic 3 - With second solar panel in overcast. Pic 4 - Two solar panels and full sun.
