Reviews
"DavidBaldacci is one of the all-time best thriller authors."-- Lisa Gardner, #1 New YorkTimes bestselling author, "Baldacci is at his absolute best in the dazzling Daylight . . . a stunning success that sets our expectations high and somehow exceeds them."-- Providence Journal, " Daylight gives you everything you would expect from a David Baldacci novel and more. The title alone speaks to the promise of answers that have eluded Atlee in the first two installments . . . [Baldacci] is incapable of producing a less than superb read."-- Bookreporter.com

Synopsis
In this gripping mystery, an FBI Agent's search for her sister clashes with a military investigator's high-stakes case, leading them both deep into a global conspiracy--from which neither of them will escape unscathed. For many long years, Atlee Pine was tormented by uncertainty after her twin sister, Mercy, was abducted at the age of six and never seen again. Now, just as Atlee is pressured to end her investigation into Mercy's disappearance, she finally gets her most promising breakthrough yet: the identity of her sister's kidnapper, Ito Vincenzo. With time running out, Atlee and her assistant Carol Blum race to Vincenzo's last known location in Trenton, New Jersey--and unknowingly stumble straight into John Puller's case, blowing his arrest during a drug ring investigation involving a military installation. Stunningly, Pine and Puller's joint investigation uncovers a connection between Vincenzo's family and a breathtaking scheme that strikes at the very heart of global democracy. Peeling back the layers of deceit, lies and cover-ups, Atlee finally discovers the truth about what happened to Mercy. And that truth will shock Pine to her very core.

Great book, can't put it down.

This is the third book in the Atlee Pine series. It's best to start with #1 in order to follow the story. It's a great series. After reading the first book I had to order the whole series.

  • Eeny meeny miney Moe..where the H did Mercy go?

To begin with, each of the 3 in this 4 book series can be read alone..but you don't want to. David Baldacci has done a superb job of creating a mystery that you want to know the answers to:. Is MERCY alive, and if so where is she??? A sisters search for her missing sibling takes her through one adventure followed by another..and the findings leave her more fearful that her sister missing over 30 years is dead, and then a new finding keeps her in the search, because maybe...just maybe..
