    It's a pretty solid footswitch. Its main job is to turn on/off the distortion channel and the FX channel. Have not tested it yet, about to put it through its paces. Got a great deal on it from Musician's Friend on a brand new, mint, excellent looking footswitch.

    Helpful pedal that will allow you to get all of the tones out of your Super-Champ XD

    Got this pedal after owing my Super-Champ XD for a few months. This Fender pedal isn't simply a channel switcher, as it allows you to cycle the effects on and off. That really makes a big difference in terms of the number of tones/sounds you can get out of this amp. Clean to dirty to effects, with just one footswitch. The only downside I've found is that it's a little awkward to get this footswitch on a pedal board, if that's what you'd like to do. It's possible, but the bottom isn't flush, as the side rims keep the metal base about an eighth of an inch off the ground. If you just put this on the ground, though, the side rims keep the pedal from sliding, which is nice. Overall, it was worth the money for me, as it allowed me to change channels and tones without having to walk over ...

    Simple, Functional Features

    Using the footswitch with my Super Champ XD to change channels and engage the units on-baord effects. This small amp covers so much sonic territory, and the accompanying footswitch provides easy access to make the amp shine. Great little tool.

    Does the job and completes the "package"

    Very convenient to have this footswitch for the Super Champ X2. Allows channel switching and an on/off for the effects. For recording and rehearsals, I use a lot of gain (overdrive) which can lead to noise during times between songs and takes. Since I don't use the clean channel on the amp much, I can hit the channel select switch to switch back over to the clean channel for quiet periods. Rounds out the total Super Champ package. Very good addition to the setup.
