      Battery monitor with V A-H and W, bluetooth

      Works well monitors voltage and both forward and reverse current. Summing the Amp hours postively and negatively. Like a fuel tank if you know your batteries A-H rating. Was supplied for a >16V system. FOR 12V a solder bridge needed to be soldered in and was hidden on the circuit board under a sticker. The back light is dimmed so only seen at night. Bluetooth is good but I had to ask for the the app Chong Feng VIC, from the supplier.

      Handy device to monitor battery in a Caravan/Camper. BT App needs work.

      Handy to monitor your battery in a Caravan/Camper etc.. Easy to view Voltage and Amps going in or out.. The Bluetooth App is a royal pain in the butt and near useless a it always disconnects, so u have to close the app.. wait.. start again and then it will likely disconnect! Had the same problem on multiple android devices.. If the app was working well I'd happily rate this product at 5 stars as you could actually use it without installing the display unit and just use the app which is what I wanted..

      mounting improvement would make it 5 star

      Installed the product and used it for a while. Easy installation and clear simple temp readings. What could be improved is the way of mounting. The only way is the double sided adhesive strip on the backside. If you cannot glue because of shape/type of surface you have no alternatives by holes or eyes. But if you can it is a good small accurate device.

      Quality product that works as intended

      Other voltage-current meters require a shunt to be placed in circuit. But unlike most shunt circuits, the shunt needs to be on the negative side of the battery supply. This means that with negative earth configurations (as 99% of circuits are) the shunt is bypassed and the current meter won't work as intended. This unit avoids all of that, with the current being measured by a hall effect detector that slips over the positive power wire. This means the meter is physically isolated from the high current that it measures. Excellent unit, its costs a bit more than the others but well worth it
