The sequel to the Animé series READ OR DIE, R.O.D. THE TV SERIES is full of satirical nods to classic and popular works of literature. Sisters Maggie, Anita, and Michelle have the unusual power to control paper, manipulating it for various purposes. They use their abilities to run a Hong Kong detective agency, taking on unusual cases for hire. THE END OF A DREAM is the sixth volume collecting the series, and contains three episodes. Anita returns to find her life in ruin due to the scheming of the villainous Mr. Carpenter, who somehow seems to know everything about her. In order to salvage what's left of her life and stop Mr. Carpenter, Anita teams up with The Paper, the mysterious and long-lost friend of her benefactor.
