Solid State Society (DVD)
If you've seen either Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence dont expect any continuity with these films as the Stand Alone Complex interpretation of the Ghost in the Shell universe is closer to the original manga in spirit. Also dont expect this to be on same kind of level as the other films. Thats not to say that Solid State Society isnt good, but its more like a feature length episode of SAC than a separate film. For this reason I would recommend watching both the 1st and 2nd Gig's of SAC prior to this as these are referred to in the film.If you've seen either Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence dont expect any continuity with these films as the Stand Alone Complex interpretation of the Ghost in the Shell universe is closer to the original manga in spirit. GITS 3rd Movie
Well what to say about the Moive, as good as the test tho, dam complex and left me a bit lost, i think im going to have to rewatch my GITS Stand alone complex 1 and 2 to try and figure out whats going on here.... Puppet Master story is dam complex For those who dont know GITS, its spose to be on par with Blade runner to a degree but i think the origenal title of the blade runner book says a lot more about GITS, Do Robots Dream... a lot of the personal bits in the movie is more about the mm Cyborgs debating whats left of there souls.. a Ghost in the shell would be like a voice in ones own head telling you what to do. im sorry im naff at writing these... personal i thing the GITS is worth watching as i got all the movies and stand along complexWell what to say about the Moive, as good as the test tho, dam complex and left me a bit lost, i think im going to have to rewatch my GITS Stand alone complex 1 and 2 to try and figure out whats going on here.... Amazing
Great piece of animated art. Better than TV series, but not as amazing like GITS 2 Innocence. Interesting plot, enough action to satisfy action-addicted, really smooth combination of traditional animation and CGI. Must-see for everyone, who wants from animation more than just plain entertainment.
