Good quality at a reasonable price
This is a decent quality tool that did not cost the earth. The steel of teh balde seems qood and it takes a good edge. The handle is plastic with a steel striking cap. So there are obvious compromises in meterial costs but that is to be expected at this price point. It looks well made and sit well in the hand so all in al I am very pleased.

I was pleased to get this chisel, and as a matter of course, I always flatten and sharpen chisels before i use them, but usually they are pretty sharp to start with! However this one was blunt, I had a quick job to do and had to sort the chisel first, I would think it would be good practice to send out the tool ready to use. All that said, it did sharpen well, and is now a very useful addition to my shop :)I was pleased to get this chisel, and as a matter of course, I always flatten and sharpen chisels before i use them, but usually they are pretty sharp to start with! A good, basic 2" bevel chisel - more useful than I expected - sharpens/strops well
A 2" chisel is a more useful tool than I expected, its width helps me maintain straight edges. Although not cheap this represents good value at around £6.40 inc. shipping and the all steel through-handle tang & strike cap should mean that it remains usable for a long time. Arrived sharp and has responded well to honing & stropping. Happy :)
