    Tried and True

    This is a replacement for the same carb I installed and used for 27years! My HD build will blow your snaps open on this bike. Almost a full inch lift with a 322 duration, coupled with custom head work and a 2 into 1 Pipe. This unit works for my application. Not sure if a 2mm size would do much more that if were to jet this one, but that starts to go into tuning. Furthermore on the 2mm, my HD had a sleeve glued on the manifold side which equated to 2mm. SO if you find your carb is 2mm smaller then your intake gasket needs it might be you need a sleeve..Not sure where you get one from, I heated mine off the old one and re glued it on the new one. Set my air intake to the old tune of 1 turn back and fired the bike up right off.

    Very good carb

    great replacement carb , fully tunable and no EPA stuff . the only down side is it is hard to tune , but when you get it right it will preform . first or second kick starts and smooth idle . good throttle response and no dead spots . I replaced the old stock carb on my Honda XR570R and now it has massive torque .

    Awesome.

    I installed this carb on my XR650R. If your wondering, no its not jetted\tuned for that application out the box. But, the carb is REALLY nice, only small thing with it is the idle knob was a wee bent..no worries though as it has had no ill effect on setting the idle. If you can tune/jet your own bike I reckon this carb is perfect for you, esp for the DRZ, XR, and DR riders!
