I would have liked it by 1st class post & I contacted this Seller via EBAY 'CONTACT' but got NO RESPONSE via either my email account or on ebay and certainly not in my Spam folder...SO what can you say I was inconvenienced a bit but got a positive outcome? I think they're reliable for transactions but something is remiss with electronic communication via EBAY or perhaps not tech savvy or disinterested or unwell etc..

One of the best Lord of the Rings editon!
The Lord of the Rings is in itself a very fascinating and great book to read, it's story is awesome and entertaining. This book is a very nice edition of The Lord of the Rings. It both feels good when reading and also looks good when it's on the shelf. If you like The Lord of the Rings, then the Deluxe Edition is absolutely the best edition to get. Other deluxe editions of Tolkien's work come with same size and similar design which makes these editions very attractive for collection.The Lord of the Rings is in itself a very fascinating and great book to read, it's story is awesome and entertaining. This is a Christmas gift but it is a quality piece that will be cherished, it's just a really nice way to own this Legendary work, it's different and feels special and makes you feel special. If you like L. O. T. R this is a really nice way to own it.

A classis good read, exceptionally well written by a master story teller.
A good read for those that like fairy tales for groneups, the book itself is better in 3 volumes rather than one bulky book. Watch the films after reading the book, as you build up your own minds eye characters reading the book.
