    The item was in a non-functioning condition. There were clearly wires that were broken or unattached. That said, I was given an immediate refund when I returned the item. It was received in a factory fresh condition, so this was not the retailer's fault. I can only surmise that Hama products are not of very good quality, and thus go out of the factory in a non-functioning condition. This retailer was fair and square with me when I returned the item however.

    Hi there. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Hama products have been very good. I think you may have had an unlucky one. The positive reviews for these headphones you purchased are in the 100s as you'll see from the review history. We have sold nearly 1000 Hama products of which have received vastly positive reviews. We tested the headphones when they were returned to us and they work absolutely fine. I can only suggest it has something to do with the equipment you're plugged in to.
