    plenty a light coats n 1 will have a mint finish! if items are well smooth n prepd right2!!

    some of these products can be like water! this however is very good light coats mind tho or ital run!! warm days are best and as it says on can a good 15,mins between coats if prepd right you will get a top finsh with a little breeze! blows the air dust away too! then you dont get a semi gloss finish(Tip!)Shake wisk can well,! between coats,A MUST DO,!,As said on can,!.

    waste of money

    no the original hammerite .compared to original this is a waste of money .is not a hard coating at all. if clear lacquered it will react and pickle .unlike the original that would take a clear coat .smell differently to original .

    Hamerite straight to rust red

    Read up all the advice and reviews I could find from 1 star to 5 star. The secret is in the preparation and application, warm conditions plenty coats (of paint) and patience. Totally pleased with the result, like a factory finish on my motor morini frame.

    Black Hammerite ok, red is too thin

    I ordered a can of black spray smooth and a can of red spray smooth. The Black was fine with good coverage. The red was around half the density of the black and next to useless. This is not good value for money and the quality is poor. This is not a reflection on the supplier but the manufacturer.
