Sent faulty Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport adaptor. I notified them that it is not passing charge through. I have asked 5 times to let me know how to return the item, and they refuse to tell me. They claim they can fix when Apple said it is faulty. Just in case the 16.5.0 bug only affected the Lightning multiport adaptor, not the USB-C one, which 16.5.1 fixed. Buy with caution as you may get fobbed off like I was.

    Works perfectly

    Only the Apple version of the USB-C to HDMI converter will allow me to have a second screen attached to my MacBook Pro. Non-Apple versions will cause the wireless mouse to lag. This is a known issue, so purchasing this Apple version solved the problem, and being second hand, it was half the price of a brand new item! Brand new, this item is totally overpriced, but that's Apple for you!

    Pricey but worth it

    Does exactly what you need it to. Used it for over a week so far, mainly to hook up a second screen to my MacBook Pro and had no issues. It’s expensive if you pay full price so definitely shop around or get second hand, but I’d say it’s worth it for the quality and peace of mind.

    Really happy with the adapter

    This really does seem to be the real Apple product and costs much less than the standard price ticket. nb don't bother with the multiport adapters costing only about £11, they are not reliable and burn out quickly. This one has lasted a fortnight already !!
