These pads are brilliant
I cannot get on with thimbles but these do a much better job. Protecting my finger from small sharp needles. The sticky literally lasts for years without leaving sticky on your finger.

If wearing a thimble is not for you
Surprisingly effective. I struggled to find a thimble that I was comfortable wearing. These little dots stick very well and are reusable. Very effective protection whilst hand sewing on binding.
