I love the DDJ-SR2. I got really good deal on this thing with the case, which is also great. The laptop shelf glides so smoothly. nice 3/8 thick plywood and the honeycomb pattern on the outside. super badass. highly recommended.

Not brand new
Device was listed as brand new, but box was damaged, and you could see smudges on the jog wheels, as if someone with wet/dirty hands was touching them. So far everything works good though, but should’ve been listed as open box, instead of brand new.

Good package deal
The items came faster than stated and in perfect condition. My DJs are happy, which makes me happy. Only issue, the case is quite a bit heavier than I expected. It's definitely a VERY study travel case. Wouldn't necessarily survive an all out gorilla attack (a la the old Samsonite commercials), but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. The controller appears positively dainty inside it. Just an FYI, the controller gets its power from the DJs computer via a USB, it doesn't plug into a regular electrical socket. Great responsive and quality controller for the price
This is a great controller for the price point. I moved from Serato DJ Pro + Technic 1200s to this, so of course the controller is not as responsive as a turntable, but it's great for mixing and even most scratches (but takes some getting used to). The looping and onboard controls for the effects are tactile, well placed and fun to use. Also, the build quality on this is solid - not all flimsy and toy-ish. This is a good controller for those who are coming from the old school 2 turntable world, without breaking the bank. This is a great controller for the price point.
