Like an old friend ... it belonged
This was a great case for my note 5. It is still like brand new. But, also, my note 5 just pooped out on me. I now have a Note 8, so the case sits quietly on my table. I always felt that my note 5 was very well protected in my case. It took a few spills when I was babysitting my grandson. He liked to play games on YouTube with it. Because I had excellent use from my case, I highly recommend it to other purchasers.This was a great case for my note 5. It is still like brand new. But, also, my note 5 just pooped out on me. Good product, but has two flaws
I love Otterbox products and almost exclusively buy their cases. This one has two issues. The built-in screen protector is not very good. You have to apply a lot of pressure in order to make contact with the screen. In the end I took it out and put my own screen protector on. Also, the case surrounds the microphone in a weird way that results in the mulit-directional mic becoming uni-directional. The solution is to cup the bottom of the phone with your hand and to speak into your hand. A little bit annoying.I love Otterbox products and almost exclusively buy their cases. Great case without the bulk.
Perfect fit for my Note 5. Side button points exactly aligned.. Tight fit but not too bad to remove if starting from the bottom. Even in the short time I have had it on I have launched it across the tile floor into the wall and it protected the phone very fell. I've use the Symmetry Series Case before with the same results. AND will order again should I need another style phone. The cases do not add a lot of bulk but protect from moderate mishaps very well. it may not stand up to a launch from a car window at 60 MPH but for everyday bumps and bruises it does the job exceptionally well.Perfect fit for my Note 5.
