Excellent design and a quality finish.
Bristan taps are always very high quality and this one was no exception, a nice looking tap with a very thick chrome finish. Because I had to remove the existing tap and then modify the pipework to take the flexible connections, it wasn't easy but having fitted the new tap, it would now be very simple to replace. I like the idea of fastening the tap from above the sink, rather than fumbling from below and contrary to a previous review I read, if fitted correctly, there is no wobble whatsoever.Bristan taps are always very high quality and this one was no exception, a nice looking tap with a very thick chrome finish. Good value with the additions, but prices new vary widely.
"Not bad" is the general opinion, but the means of fitting it requires the explanation of Bristan's "Fitting Instructions", so this has changed how I was PLANNING to fit it also. I had to replace the damaged O-rings if I did not want it to leak. The FITTING also requires some lubrication of the 0-rings to avoid damage when mating the two halves. The GOOD part is that the TAP valves are CARTRIDGE type. I'm NOT a plumber by trade, but don't expect any problems when fitting it. Security improved for 2020+
Lots written about the (in)security of the "Easyfit" system but this latest version seems improved, although I did use some Loctite on the grub screws. Be far better if Bristan supplied self-locking grub screws which are easily available and cheap if bought in bulk. The tap set itself is of the usual excellent Bristan quality.

It does what it says on the cam, easy to fit and looks great. Also as I have low pressure and as this does not have a long spout I have found the water pressure in better.
