I thought you might like to see what I do with them. pictures one and two I breakdown all the parts and clean them. The middle picture is what I do with the wheels. I soak them in Clorox to whiten them. then I assemble the trains as models in this case I glue them together there never coming apart again. The last two pictures show the completed trains notice the seams are as clean as I could make them by sanding & polishing
