Would be useful to update the listing picture and title as the product I got seems to be slightly different to what I was expecting. I thought I was getting a black protector and restorer with a red tube cap, but the product seems to be grey protector with a blue tube cap. Seems to work alright I guess (though it has changed the colour of my hotplates). Had I known I was getting this variant of the product I would have opted for an alternative cheaper listing

Woks very effectively and does exactly what is says on the tube.
Does an excellent job bringing in the solid plat rings back to looking as they should. Water-stained rings took an extra coat to produce an acceptable finish. Applied per the instructions and left to dry overnight, still produced some light fumes when the rings were brought to full heat. These were easily dealt with via the extraction hood. Not the best for cleaning
It makes the hob plate a nice silver/gun metal colour. However I don’t think it’s great as a cleaner, my hob plate's were used in a rental property, and were highly rusted and burnt. This did very little to clean the plates. Elbow grease and scraping was the best result. But it did finish the plates off nicely and covered any left rust and burns. Whether it protects the plates, don’t know, but I’m hoping it lives up to its claims.It makes the hob plate a nice silver/gun metal colour. Excellent alternative to our old product
Used to use a German product which appears to be off the market now, so opted for this as an alternative. Great choice by us. Cleans and shines the hobs as well as our original product, albeit the finish is dark grey as opposed to black (as before). Changed colour is no big deal. Definitely recommend the product.
