Cheap but tired old kit. False economy against other brands.
It’s 40 years since I last made one of these. The castings are worse now than they were back then. The crew figures are awful, covered in flashing. After decades of increasing profits on these old kits and despite far superior competition, Airfix have not made any improvements. There are still no windows provided for the quad tractor, you have to improvise. The doors are not separate, the limber doors are shut and do there is no detail possible in the ammunition compartment. . It’s 40 years since I last made one of these.
