Hoover Upright 500 sensor plus.
Purchased this hoover last week and iv'e been very impressed at how good it is. It's a great little hoover and picks up dust and debris with ease.Its only draw back is when it comes to fitting the hose and attachments as it can be a little tricky and frustrating. The general build of it is good but lacks a little quality and strength compared to some of the older models manufactured by Hoover. Generally, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Avoid at all cost.
Bought our Hoover H Upright 500 six months ago & it is, without question, the absolute worst thing I've ever bought. It is ridiculously heavy & awkward to use - even without the extension hose weighing it down to the right. When vacuuming hard floors, the dust collects on the small narrow brush behind the roller then gets dumped on the floor if you pull the vacuum back onto a carpet. Emptying is a nightmare. There is a narrow gap between two tubes in the filter, one inside the other, and dust & debris gets packed inside. The only way to clean it is to pry it out. I have to use a long thin screwdriver blade. Admittedly this might not apply to anyone else, but when trying to vacuum along our skirting boards under the radiators, the lower bracket scrapes against the radiator. I've had ...
