    Triang Railways (later Triang Hornby) Super 4 track tension lock uncoupling ramp.

    This uncoupling ramp was manufactured between 1962 and 1971 for the Triang Railways (later Triang Hornby) Super 4 track system and is designed to work in conjunction with any model railway rolling stock fitted with tension lock couplings. As tension lock couplings have become the model railway manufacturing standard choice due to Triang never patenting its couplings, therefore this uncoupling ramp will also function as it was intended with modern tension lock coupling systems. However older Triang Mark 1 (1950 to 1951), Mark 2 (1952 to 1957), plus 1950's Graham Farish and Jouef rolling stock fitted with Lanal type (hook and loop bar) will tend to decouple unintentionally at medium to slow speeds when passing over any tension lock decoupling ramps.
