Great item , has helped me to foil the marauding squirrels crows and magpies , turned it up side down so the plastic base acts as a roof to stop the small birds food getting wet ( no fungus infections in these birds ) and any water runs through the bars at the bottom I had my 1st feeder 10 minutes after I left the garden having wired the door shut and wired the small ‘holes “ open so the bird food is now safe from greedy thieves . They eat the food left for them and then steal everything else
