Product Information

Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom (WC4) takes place after the end of a war between the Kilrathi and Terrans. Another war is on the verge of beginning, this time between the Confederation and the Border Worlds. You play the part of Colonel Blair, who is in the Confederation. WC4 puts you in control of a variety of spaceships armed with your choice of weapons. You can fly in arcade flight mode or customize the controls for simulation mode. Other settings allow you to turn on subtitles, choose from three difficulty levels and make your ship invulnerable.<br><br>Battle scenes are broken up with many cinematic sequences, as the game moves along similar to a movie. Cinematic scenes were acted by some recognizable actors, such as Mark Hamill (of Star Wars fame) and Malcom McDowell, who you may know from Star Trek: Generations. WC4 requires one memory block for a saved game.

Item arrived more battered than in the photos. It was a battle with seller to negotiate the price down as afterall it is just a cardboard box. They were very reluctant. Dropped price a little bit then forgot to mention other hidden charges not stated. Seller stopped replying to msgs. I would not recommend buying from seller. Transaction was not pleasant nor friendly and now I have a battered box that I paid over £140 GBP for as a collector can't do anything with ��

The item was shipped using the Ebay Global Shipping program. As I stated in multiple messages I have no control over what you are charged for shipping, taxes or any other fees in whatever country the item was being delivered to. The box was in good shape as the pictures show in the listing with some minor damage which is pictured and mentioned in the description of the item.

This is a great version of the hit pc game, a little bit lack luster on the graphics side but this is a early ps1 title, still a great way to play this classic, The controls take some getting used to as they require multi button press to activate the same functions you would on a pc keyboard. and no analog support your playing old school here. I loved this story arc and the acting is top notch Hollywood.
