Pros: Accurate, well made, measures actual temperature rather than predictive temperature, comes with protective sleeve, water resistant, easy to clean. Display contrast is good. Beeps on acquiring temperature. Cleaning instructions are clear. Easy to use once familiar with it. Good self-check feature. Measures in degrees C or F. Cons: Display is a little small. Multi-lingual instructions are the size of a newspaper with minute type. Instructions could be better written. Beep is very quiet. OVERALL: Very good value for money, reliable and accurate. The inadequacies of the instructions can be overcome with a magnifying glass and some patience. I ordered Omron because I expected to get a sturdy hospital grade product. Instead I have received a flimsy low quality product which I will not use as I cannot be sure of it`s accuracy. The push button is about as vague as they come. The instructions, when you manage to find them in your own language are in tiny tiny print, and no privision is made to keep or store them with the device. Shame on Omron for putting their name to this product. Once bitten....................I ordered Omron because I expected to get a sturdy hospital grade product. Strictly - Product Review / not apply to seller
Seems so far, a good little item. The only tiny issue - the on / off button is a little hard to press, and being very small, may be too difficult to use if you do not have strong fingers. A bigger, easier to press button and slightly bigger display would make it excellent at this price.

Not ideal for timely reading of temperature
Brought the thermometer for family use. It appears a good quality item, although when taking temperature it takes up to 4/5 minutes to read a temperature, I've never known a thermometer to take this long to read.
