    Jeff doing what he does best....

    Jeff Lynne took a break from turning out endless sugar coated soft pop/rock albums. He could have easily rested on his laurels but he turns out material when it suits him. You know what you are going to get so don't moan, it just high quality music produced by a guy who knows what he wants and that of his audience as well. Stand out cut is "Down came the rain" and its worth the price for that track alone. Slide the cd in, push play and sing along, its that easy.

    Same old Jeff Lynne

    For a start it's way too short at just over 30 minutes, I'm sure Jeff could have came up with a few more tracks. Since he has done all the music and playing on his stuff in recent years, the material is very safe and samey. Jeff let some other people into your song writing process and spice it up a bit!
