Reviews
"A Good Portion of Stand's Tunes Deserve a Place in the Dance-Floor Pantheon..." -- Grade: B+, 3 stars out of 5 -- "The production is cocktail-lounge crunk, full of splashy cymbals, jazzy electric guitar and tinkly pianos."

In over 11 years and after hundreds of purchases, absolutely the worst seller I have encountered on ebay. Item I received was nothing like "new" as described or as shown in images. On contacting seller he insisted item I had been sent was "pristine" despite my photos to the contrary, suggesting I was in effect lying and a fraudulent buyer. He would accept no responsibility whatsoever for whatever had occurred with my order and I had to open a case to obtain a refund. A disgrace, avoid.

The item delivered to this buyer was a mint condition, new copy of the CD as ordered. Photographic proof of this was provided to eBay to counter untrue claims by this buyer. eBay has found in my favour but this fraudulent buyer is determined... The dozens of positives reviews and feedback received give the lie to his claims.

CD CASE WAS CRACKED ON ARRIVAL ONLY IN A NORMAL ENVELOPE. AS IT WAS LISTED AS NEW I THOUGHT IT MAY HAVE BEEN SEALED, CD DOES WORK.

Hi Anita I'm sorry your CD arrived with the case cracked. The CD envelopes I use do afford good protection to the CDs and I rarely have any problems with the deliveries. I had not listed the item as sealed, but see now that the eBay definition of 'New' includes 'sealed'; my mistake. In future, I will mark such items as 'Like New'. Joe

  • Best Usher Album Since My Way

Following the nine-times platinum CONFESSIONS, Usher had a tall order to fulfill with 2008's HERE I STAND. To his credit, the R&B sensation didn't merely replicate CONFESSIONS, but instead moved into new thematic territory while still remaining true to his now-patented silky-smooth urban contemporary sound. Lyrically, HERE I STAND reflects Usher's commitments as a husband and father, with songs like "Before I Met You" and "Lifetime" replacing the wild narratives of his bachelor days. R&B's premiere player seems to have grown up. But even given Usher's maturity on this set, there's plenty to please the legions of fans used to his sensual, stylish music. Opener "Love in This Club" is a soaring, thumping anthem featuring a spot by Young Jeezy, while "Part II" boasts appearances by Beyonce ...
